One VERY proud Mummy!!

No, he didn't win but actually he didn't need to.  What he did do was put into practice everything he learned at PC camps & the work I'd done with him last week, concentrated & tried really really hard.  I didn't get to see any of this as I was Dressage judging but thankfully Russell videoed as much as he could (running around the xc fences was NEVER going to happen so we have a few fences using the camera's full zoom!!)

Jack was equal 3rd in his section after the dressage & actually if he'd got both his canter's he may well have been a bit higher up.  He got around his show jumping with a couple of naughty pony moments that put him out of the competition but was allowed to go cross country & again, although a few inexperienced moments on course, he jumped everything out there & galloped home beaming from ear to ear!!  Clever boy & clever pony!!

I've also had some really thrilling news from some of my Pony Club clients.  At the championships last weekend & finishing this weekend just gone, Charlie was placed 5th individually in the Intermediate eventing section & Alice was 10th individually in the Novice eventing & 9th individually in the Novice dressage!!  Alice is a fairly new client to me, I think we've been working together for only the last 4 months whereas Charlie & I have been working together for the last couple of years, so to have those results come back is a real thrill!!

Am off examining for C & C+ Achievement Tests tomorrow for the AVPC, but I'm already being badgered to find some Hunter Trials to go to .... & we're not back from holiday .... yet!!
